Rice United Way Campaign passes 80 percent of goal

The Rice United Way Campaign has raised $207,599, about 83 percent of the university’s $250,000 goal.

The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies has hit 100 percent participation. The School of Humanities leads campus with the most funds raised at $18,442. Facilities, Engineering and Planning leads with the largest number of donors, 130.

Pledges may be made by automatic payroll deduction, spread over all of 2020’s paychecks, via Esther. To give by check or credit card, or to designate any pledge — including a payroll pledge — to benefit a specific United Way agency, geographic area or community program or priority, Rice donors may use the pledge form available on the Rice United Way Campaign website, unitedway.rice.edu, where more information on the campaign is available.
