Rice launches new center for African American studies
Rice has announced the creation of a new center in response to increasing interest and expertise in African and African American Studies on campus. Anthony Pinn, the Agnes Cullen Arnold Professor of Humanities and professor of religion, who will serve as founding director of the Center for African and African American Studies, is pictured and quoted.
