Visions from the ghost world at Rice Media Center

Rice’s Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts hosted an opening reception Sep. 5 for its first fall exhibition. Large prints and mixed media created by photography lecturer Justin Raphael Roykovich filled the Rice Media Center for the debut of “In/Between | A Rock and a Hard Place: Visions from the Ghost World of How to Survive One’s Sovereignty of Self Destruction in a Land We Assumed We Once Knew.”

Large prints and mixed media created by photography lecturer Justin Raphael Roykovich filled the Rice Media Center for the debut of “In/Between | A Rock and a Hard Place: Visions from the Ghost World of How to Survive One’s Sovereignty of Self Destruction in a Land We Assumed We Once Knew.” The immersive installation, which comprises photographs, drawings and found objects across both levels of the Media Center, will remain on view through Oct. 17.
