Djerejian discusses peace prospects with Palestinian prime minister


Baker Institute Director Edward Djerejian, left, a former U.S. ambassador to Syria and to Israel, met with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh in the West Bank city of Ramallah on June 19 to discuss the latest political developments in the region. Djerejian is visiting with Palestinian and Israeli government officials and think-tank experts as part of a Baker Institute project on long-term prospects for a settlement between them.
