Marjorie Cerejo, Andy Meretoja and Scott Pett from Rice’s Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) presented “Not Just a Wheel of Fortune: Intentional Programming Matters for Compliance, Integration and Retention” at the NAFSA: Association of International Educators’ Texas State Meeting March 8 in Arlington. The interactive session highlighted the OISS’ cultural and hospitality programs that are part of the Exchange Visitor Program. Maria Corcuera gave a similar version of the presentation March 27 in Fondren Library’s Kyle Morrow Room.
