Geniuses of ginger

An elaborate holiday-themed chapel, above, made by members of the Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts won the “Rice Theme” category in the Gingerbread Competition co-hosted by Rice Architecture and the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Dec. 14 at Anderson Hall. Others who walked away with sweet prizes included the “Best Overall” winner, the ginger Huff House (below) by Team Ninja Breadwomen from the Center for Career Development; the “Best Houston Theme” winner, Team G9 from Rice Online; and the “People’s Choice” winner, Team Busi Bakers from the Jones Business School, for its take (at bottom) on the Twilight Epiphany Skyspace.
