Student Activities Fair fills the RMC

Mini Cooper, the miniature horse who serves as mascot for the Rice equestrian team, was among those greeting guests and mingling at the Student Activities Fair Aug. 23 at the Rice Memorial Center. Human ambassadors from other student clubs filled the garden patio, including the Rice Meditation Group, Rice Bhangra and KTRU. Dozens of groups ranging from the Rice Fencing Club and Rice Alzheimer’s Buddies to the Vietnamese Student Association and Chabad at Rice University packed the Grand Hall inside, giving students a taste of the 250 different clubs and organizations on campus.
