Houston Council Member Karla Cisneros helps with Hour of Code

At the invitation of the Rice University School Mathematics Project (RUSMP), Houston Council Member and Rice alumna Karla Cisneros ’83 participated in an Hour of Code event at Burrus Elementary School in her district during Computer Science Education Week. The Hour of Code is an introduction to computer science designed to demystify coding and show students that anyone can learn the basics. RUSMP is a Code.org regional partner.
