The Rice School of Architecture/Rice Design Alliance Lectures will be held at a new location this fall: the Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (MATCH), 3400 Main St.

This year’s three-lecture RSA/RDA series is titled “Mass Timber” and will focus on wood’s advantages as a sustainable building material. The lectures are curated by Albert Pope, the Gus Sessions Wortham Professor at the Rice School of Architecture.

Lectures will be held Sept. 28, Oct. 5 and Oct. 26, all at 7 p.m. in Match Box 4. MATCH is accessible from the Ensemble/HCC stop on the METRORail Red Line and parking is available in the Mid Main garage.

Visit the RDA website for information on how to purchase tickets.
