The graphic novel was part of Gamez’s poster presentation for Seminar and Practicum: Undergraduate Community-Engaged Research. Students from the class presented their research during a reception April 29 in the Humanities Building foyer. Gamez collaborated with the nonprofit Houston organization Fe y Justicia Worker Center.
