Rice EMS honored for excellence

Rice Emergency Medical Services (REMS) was recognized with three awards at the National Collegiate EMS Foundation’s annual conference Feb. 27-March 1 in Baltimore. REMS won Collegiate EMS Video of the Year and “Striving for Excellence,” which is awarded to campus emergency medical services that represent the gold standard of delivery and care and the benchmark against which other campus-based EMS groups should compare themselves. This is the sixth time REMS has earned this award.
