New name: Study Abroad Office

The Office of International Programs has changed its name to the Study Abroad Office. The location is the same: Suite 132 in Ley Student Center. As of July 1, Erika Payán Zanetti will serve as director of study abroad and Beata Loch will serve as director of international undergraduate partnerships. Don Ostdiek, associate dean of undergraduates, oversees the office.

The Study Abroad Office offers undergraduate students the opportunity to pursue high-quality rigorous study at select international universities and to experience academic field research and internships. These opportunities encompass every Rice academic major and field of study through programs in more than 60 countries. For more on the office, visit abroad.rice.edu.
