Shepherd School of Music students and alumni received 2020 American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Morton Gould Young Composer Awards. Incoming freshman Zev Malina, current graduate composition student Max Vinetz and Shepherd School alumnus Ross Griffey ’12 were among the 20 recipients. Graduate student Nicky Sohn and alumnus Paul Novak ’20 received honorary mention.
