Carson, Crenshaw host roundtable on homelessness at Rice

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson (pictured above, left) and U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (middle), R-Texas, hosted a special roundtable on homelessness Dec. 16 at Rice’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. The two, who were joined by White House Cabinet Secretary Kristan King Nevins (right), spoke with more than a dozen local nonprofit and government leaders to learn about the public-private model that’s decreased homelessness in Houston.

Baker Institute Director Edward Djerejian met with Carson and Crenshaw prior to the roundtable (pictured below).
