Rice welcomes international scholars for symposium on black feminism

On the first day of an international symposium on black feminism in Francophone countries, Dean of Humanities Kathleen Canning welcomed guests to the Founder’s Room in Lovett Hall alongside Alexis Andres, the consul general of France in Houston. The three-day conference, organized by Jacqueline Couti, the Laurence H.
