Jose Borges was welcomed as the new Consul General of Brazil in Houston during a daylong reception at Rice Jan. 30. He was joined by fellow consulate members as they met with Rice faculty and staff responsible for creating and maintaining a variety of partnerships the university has with Brazilian institutions via the Brasil@Rice program.
