Masked singers and K-pop dancers pack the Grand Hall for Korean Culture Night

Korean Culture Night
Over 500 people from Rice and greater Houston attended the annual Korean Culture Night Jan. 19 in the Rice Memorial Center Grand Hall. Co-hosted by the Korean Student Association and Korean International Student Association, the cultural event boasted traditional and modern performances including Korean traditional musical instruments, K-pop dancing, games and the ever-popular hidden masked singer contest. The event was underwritten by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Houston and SK Innovation, which donated $50,000 for the development of Korean programs at Rice. (Photos by L Diop)
