Leebron meets with Vice President Pence at White House

Rice President David Leebron was part of a delegation of university presidents who met with U.S. Vice President Mike Pence at the White House July 26 to discuss the long-standing partnership research universities have had with the federal government to perform innovative studies that advance the economy, improve public health and strengthen national security. The delegation was organized by Indiana University President Michael McRobbie on behalf of the Association of American Universities (AAU), of which Leebron is board chair.
