Rice ranks No. 53 among world’s most international universities

Rice is the 53rd most international university in the world, according to the 2017 Times Higher Education (THE) ranking.

The rankings are based on the number of international staff, students and co-authors, as reported in the THE World University Rankings 2016-17, in which Rice is No. 87, and on international reputation.

Rice is the 11th-highest ranked U.S. university on the list and one of two Texas universities in the top 100, along with Texas A&M University, which is No. 92. At No. 22, Massachusetts Institute of Technology is the highest-ranked U.S. university on the list.
