MBA student leaders convene at Rice

Thirty-two student government leaders and administrators from 18 of the country’s top MBA programs gathered at Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business Nov. 17-18 for the MBA Student Government Leadership Summit to discuss leadership challenges and best practices. Speakers included Rice alumna and former Houston Mayor Annise Parker ‘78 (at center), professor in the practice at Rice and senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Neighborhood Centers Inc.

The conference was designed to shape America’s future leaders through MBA student government leadership presentations, roundtable discussions on best practices, nationally recognized speakers and networking opportunities, according to Daran Gaus, president of the Jones Student Association, who helped organize the event.
