2017 best colleges preview: Top 25 national universities
Rice University moved up to No. 15 among the best national universities and remained the highest-ranked among universities in Texas in the 2017 edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” guidebook. Ranked No. 18 last year, Rice University is now tied for No. 15 with Cornell University, University of Notre Dame and Vanderbilt University. A preview of the rankings that listed the top 25 schools alphabetically included a photo of Lovett Hall.
