Rice United Way Campaign hits 95 percent of goal

As the 2015 Rice United Way Campaign enters its sixth (of eight) week, pledges and contributions have topped 95 percent of the $225,000 goal. The campuswide pledge total is $213,411.

Natural Sciences continues to lead the campus in contributions with $21,511, and the Housing and Dining Division leads with the most overall donors, 108.

Employees can make a pledge payable by payroll deductions spread over all paychecks in calendar (and tax) year 2016 by logging in at esther.rice.edu and clicking the “United Way” link to authorize a direct payroll contribution, or use the pledge form on the Rice United Way website, www.rice.edu/unitedway. That same form may also be used to make a cash, check or credit card gift (for tax year 2015).
