RUSMP celebrates 30th anniversary

Richard Tapia, University Professor and the Maxfield-Oshman Professor of Computational and Applied Mathematics, spoke to nearly 150 educators at the Rice University School Mathematics Project’s (RUSMP) Fall Networking Conference Sept. 26 in Duncan Hall. His keynote presentation, “Math at Top Speed,” was followed by the mathematics teachers sharing exemplary lessons they created during the 2015 RUSMP Summer Campus Program. RUSMP is celebrating its 30th year of working with schools and school districts to improve mathematics education.
