Texas State University boasts ‘freshman year for free’ program
Starting next fall, the Texas State University System plans to encourage nontraditional students to take massive open online courses (MOOCs) that prepare them to take Advanced Placement (AP) or College-Level Examination Program tests so they can earn college credits before arriving on campus.
