Itohan Idumwonyi, a student in Rice’s religion Ph.D. program, is the recipient of a 2015 Forum for Theological Exploration Fellowship for Doctoral Students of African Descent, which will provide a stipend of up to $20,000 to support her doctoral studies. Idumwonyi’s research is at the intersection of African religions, Pentecostalism, women and gender studies.
