Texas House battleground could hinge on voter ID law in flux
Mark Jones, the Joseph D. Jamail Chair in Latin American Studies, professor of political science and fellow in political science at Rice’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, comments on the confusion over Texas’ voter photo identification requirement, which potentially discouraged as many as 9 percent of registered voters from voting in the November 2014 elections in the Latino-majority U.S. Congressional District 23. Jones is also quoted about the untimely addition of voting on term limits to the already crowded Houston mayoral ballot and the effect Houston politics have on surrounding counties and cities.

Tantalum shows promise for high-density storage
