Rice students attend Global FoodBanking Network reception

Rice University Center for Civic Leadership students attended a reception hosted by the Global FoodBanking Network at Asia Society Texas Center March 18. The Global FoodBanking Network is a nongovernmental organization working to alleviate hunger through the development of food banks around the world. The Rice students are participating in an international service project and will spend two weeks in Bulgaria this summer assisting with the Bulgarian Food Bank’s food drive.
