Heart to Heart Health Expo set for Feb. 17

The Heart to Heart Health Expo is coming to Rice University Feb. 17. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Rice Memorial Center’s Grand Hall, Rice faculty and staff can take advantage of the latest heart-healthy information from heart experts.

At the Expo, employees can:

  • Expand their knowledge of heart disease and innovative treatments.
  • Find out how to recognize the signs of a heart attack and what to do.
  • Watch heart-healthy cooking demonstrations and sample food.
  • Learn how to keep the heart muscle strong with lifestyle changes and exercise.
  • Get answers to heart questions from Memorial Hermann Medical Group doctors.
  • Find a doctor and schedule a checkup online with ScheduleNow.
  • Meet staff from the Nurse Health Line, a free 24/7 service for Houston-area residents.

Those who register at http://heart.memorialhermann.org/rice will also be entered to win a new FitBit wireless activity tracker.
