Services for the late Bob Allen to be held Jan. 13, 14

Services for the late Robert H. “Bob” Allen are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Allen, former chair of the Baylor College of Medicine Board of Trustees, was the husband of Rice trustee adviser Judy Ley Allen ’61, who serves on the Board of Overseers for the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business. He died Jan. 10 at age 86.

Visitation will be held Jan. 13 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at George H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive. A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Jan. 14 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road.
