Introducing American football to Rice’s new international students

Last week during Rice football’s week off, head football coach David Bailiff took time to hold his annual football camp for Rice University’s new international graduate and undergraduate students.

The evening, which was attended by more than 200 students, included lessons on the basics of American football, food, games and on-the-field drills with Bailiff and Rice football players.

This year’s incoming freshman class comes from all over the world, and they make up 12 percent of Rice’s class of 2018.
