A research paper by Yael Hochberg, the Ralph S. O’Connor Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business and academic director of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, has been recognized as one of the 35 best and most highly cited research papers published in a management journal in the last 15 years. Hochberg’s paper, “Whom You Know Matters: Venture Capital Networks and Investment Performance,” has won a 2014 Citations of Excellence award from Emerald Group Publishing, the world’s leading publisher of scholarly journals and books in business and management.
