Houston Business Journal’s 2014 Best Places to Work survey starts July 28

Rice employees make the university a great place to work every day, and they can help Rice be recognized as one of Houston’s best places to work for the ninth year in a row by participating in the Houston Business Journal’s (HBJ) annual survey.

Only three Houston companies have achieved this status for eight years in a row, as Rice did last year, so there is an opportunity for Rice to further distinguish its standing among Houston employers, said Mary Cronin, associate vice president for human resources.

The online survey begins July 28, and Rice employees have until Aug. 22 to share their thoughts about working here.

A high percentage of responses from employees is needed for an institution to be a contender for a “best place to work” title. All responses from employees are confidential.

Rice will receive a summary of everyone’s feedback when HBJ releases the survey results this fall.
