Rice Department of Sport Management to host ‘Exploring Athlete Images’ April 10

Rice’s Department of Sport Management will host “Exploring Athlete Images,” a panel discussion focusing on the public image of professional athletes, April 10 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Sewall Hall, Room 309.

The panel will include James Casey ’10, tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles; Jeff Nalley, chief operating officer of Select Sports Group and contract agent for Heisman Trophy-winner Johnny Manziel; Brittany Bock, captain of the newly formed women’s soccer team the Houston Dash; Brian Michael Cooper, former president of the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, a D-League affiliate of the Houston Rockets; and Clark Haptonstall, chair of Rice’s Department of Sport Management and founder of the Haptonstall Group.
