From Brownies to bandages: Girl Scouts learn first aid from Rice EMS

More than 20 Daisies, Brownies and Girl Scouts visited Rice Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Jan. 27 to learn about EMS training, equipment and emergency response. The girls learned skills on managing wounds — including bandaging and tourniquets — as part of earning their first-aid badge.
