Rice’s The Papers of Jefferson Davis documentary editing project was listed among the credits in the Nov. 5 episode of the PBS fall series “African-Americans: Many Rivers to Cross.” Davis was president of the Confederacy during the American Civil War. The project provided information about Davis Island and the Davis family for the episode.

Jones School graduate student Parker Dalton was awarded a $10,000 scholarship by the Texas Business Hall of Fame Foundation.
