Lessons in education technology

The Rice University Education Entrepreneurship Program (REEP) hosted its first Ed Tech conference Oct. 19 at McNair Hall. The event brought more than 100 people to campus, including Houston-area educators, school leaders and education technology practitioners. The conference presented participants with hands-on applications of education technologies and workshops on how to choose the best technologies to increase student learning and engagement inside the classroom. The Ed Tech conference was led by Lawrence Kohn, director of program and evaluation at REEP, and facilitated by a team from Education Elements and guest presenters.
