Dominic Boyer, associate professor of anthropology, will serve as the incoming editor of Cultural Anthropology, one of the flagship journals of the discipline. Boyer will lead an editorial collective based at Rice with fellow faculty members James Faubion, professor of anthropology, and Cymene Howe, assistant professor of anthropology. Boyer also is director of Rice’s Center for Energy and Environmental Research in the Human Sciences.
