Rice Night at the Rodeo is March 7

Rice Night at the Rodeo is March 7 and will feature musical artist Bruno Mars. Rice students, employees, alumni and friends are invited to participate in this and many other fun 2013 Rodeo Houston activities.

The Employee Activities Subcommittee’s March Lunch Bunch will feature a talk by Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo volunteer April Wiggins during a Western-themed lunch at the West Servery. Rice Night at the Rodeo featuring Bruno Mars, March 7 at 6:45 p.m.

Cheer President David Leebron, Sammy the Owl and other Rice notables as they saddle up and ride out onto the Reliant Stadium rodeo arena to kick off this special night of celebration. A Rice Night at the Rodeo performance ticket provides a full day’s access to the rodeo grounds, including the carnival, live animal exhibits, the shopping area featuring arts and crafts and delicious food available for purchase, the rodeo competition that evening and the musical performance by Grammy Award nominee Bruno Mars.
