Douglas Brinkley interviews President Obama for Rolling Stone

On Oct. 11, Douglas Brinkley, professor of history and fellow in history at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, interviewed President Barack Obama in the Oval Office at the White House for the Nov. 8 cover story in Rolling Stone magazine.

The Obama cover story will be Brinkley’s third for Rolling Stone. He has also interviewed Hunter S. Thompson and Bob Dylan for the magazine.

After returning from Washington, Brinkley sat down with Rice University video producer Brandon Martin to discuss his interview with the president.
