Fox Business Network’s ‘Money with Melissa Francis’ to broadcast live from Rice University Sept. 20

The Fox Business Network will broadcast the program “Money With Melissa Francis” live from the Rice University campus Sept. 20.

The show will take place on the Academic Quad from 4 to 5 p.m. between Fondren Library and Willy’s Statue and will focus on Houston’s booming energy industry.

Rice President David Leebron will appear as a guest on the show to discuss Rice’s role in preparing students for careers in the energy industry, and the university’s impact on the local economy. Other business professionals from the Houston area are scheduled to be interviewed also.

Faculty, staff and students who are unable to watch the Leebron interview live can look for it in Dateline Rice, a daily newsletter that features select news stories that mention Rice, later that week.
