Cesar Tovar, food production associate in the South Servery Kitchen, won a silver medal in the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) Culinary Challenge at the NACUFS national conference in Boston July 12. The challenge recognizes outstanding food preparation and presentation skills in collegiate dining services. Tovar represented the NACUFS Southern Region in a competition against chefs from five other regions before a live audience of college and university food service managers and industry suppliers.
