Jones School to host ‘The Supreme Court’s Impact on Health Care Reform’
June 21 public event part of Health Care Speaker Series

HOUSTON – (June 19, 2012) – Houston attorney Sheri Dacso will discuss the effect of federal health care reform legislation on the relationships between physicians and hospitals during a free public lecture at Rice University June 21. Her talk, “The Supreme Court’s Impact on Health Care Reform,” is part of Rice’s Jones Graduate School of Business’ Health Care Speaker Series and will begin at 6:30 p.m. in McNair Hall on the Rice campus, 6100 Main St.

Dacso, a partner at Seyfarth Shaw, will focus on the changes in the Houston market as a result of these reforms as well as how the pending decision of the US Supreme Court will affect these relationships regardless of the outcome.

The Health Care Speaker Series aims to educate the Houston community regarding recent and relevant health care developments. Experts on a variety of topics will share insights in a way that laypersons can understand.
