Rice inducts 74 into Phi Beta Kappa

The Rice chapter of Phi Beta Kappa inducted 74 new members at a ceremony May 11.

Election to Phi Beta Kappa recognizes outstanding achievement in the liberal arts and sciences. To be considered, a student must have completed at least 90 semester hours in courses that reflect the pursuit of learning for its own sake, rather than for the development of professional skills.
