Houston’s CBS affiliate, KHOU, will air “Interesting Times,” a new film from Rice University’s Kinder Institute for Urban Research, May 12 at 2 p.m., May 27 at 11 a.m. and June 16 at 4 p.m.
Rice University Sociologist and Kinder Institute Co-director Stephen Klineberg has conducted the Houston Area Survey for 31 years to learn more about Houston’s economic outlook, quality-of-life considerations, demographic transformations and other topics. The film celebrates the history and vibrancy of the survey and its impact on the Greater Houston region.
The film premiered at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in March and was shown at Rice’s UnConvention and more recently at Discovery Green.
