Rice Night at the Rodeo is March 5

Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are dusting off their western wear to help Rice embrace the Lone Star spirit as the university celebrates Rice Night at the Rodeo with a series of events March 5.

In honor of Rice Night at the Rodeo, Rice’s residential colleges will offer special Western-themed lunch menus for campus meal-plan holders.

• The Staff Advisory Committee will host its monthly Lunch Bunch at 11:30 a.m. in McMurtry College Commons and will feature a speaker from the rodeo. The talk is free, but registration to purchase lunch from the servery is required. For more information, visit http://lunchbunch.rice.edu.

• That evening, come out to Rice Night at the Rodeo at Reliant Stadium and watch for Rice representatives riding in the grand entry. Tickets to Rice Night at the Rodeo are available at hlsr.com.
