The team, led by plant operator Martha Zawacki, participated for the 14th year in a row. They created the buckyball in recognition of the Year of Nano at Rice, a yearlong celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Nobel Prize-winning discovery of the carbon 60 molecule. |
