| Those who braved the rain and went to Rice’s campuswide “free”-cycling event at Rice Memorial Center June 3 were rewarded for their effort. Grand Hall was filled with unneeded and unwanted office items from departments across campus, all made available for free for use by other university departments. Items that were not claimed by the end of the event were slated for donation to a charitable organization. This event was sponsored by Delivery Services, Environmental Health and Safety, Procurement, the Sustainability Office, the Office of the Vice President for Administration and the Student Center. |
